Introduction / Overview:

Skill Development Council Islamabad campus offering a three months short course on PCB Designing for Electronics Engineers and Technicians. PCB Designing has now become one of the important and essential traits for these professionals. Not only essential for their career advancement but also necessary for their sustained growth. This workshop aims to strengthen the knowledge and designing skills of engineers/technicians.

Learning Objectives:

·         Appreciate how a PCB is design and understand the variations in designing.

·         Familiarize yourself with the seemingly endless terminology and jargon.

·         Evaluate the key aspects of design software and how to get the most from it.

·         Gain hands-on experience of different PCB routing and placement techniques.

·         Working with power planes, producing documentations.

·         Understand the part designing system and component packaging

·         Consider the impact of units, grids and   libraries.

·         Establish the important requirements of PCB manufacture.

·         Become aware of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) & DFA (Design for Assembly)

·         Identify the relation between CAD/CAM and Modern Electronics Designing.

Methodology:

 Theory (just 9 hours, First 3 days) then practical’s or training on computers.
