Safety is an important issue for every single business, industry and organization today. In an increasing competitive environment dominated by cost-cutting and budget justification, Role of Health & Safety Management is becoming increasingly critical to the overall success of a business or non-profit organization. Understanding and implementing Occupational Health & Safety is a vital tool for responding to emerging organizational changes, and a point of leverage to improve the contribution of HR & OD. This is only possible when HR and Safety professionals practically incorporate the industrial Health & Safety requirements as per international standards, rules and local law requirements at their workplace in the qualitative terms.

Course Methodology:

It is a highly interactive program where speakers can share their knowledge and experience about the topic and problem areas the participants need to know. It consists of lectures, practical exercise through workplace video visits and syndicate presentation in case study.

F     All the trainees shall be provided with a hard copy of the training material at the start of the training. Handouts will be provided as per requirements of the topic.

F     Presentation via a data show (power point presentation), white board and flip charts.

F     Trainees shall be encouraged to interact with the trainer through presenting their queries during the training sessions.

F     Real life examples relating to the training materials shall be presented by the trainer and discussed by the trainee groups.

F     Teaching strategies will involve interactive and participant-centered discussions. Group and pair-work structured exercises for each learning module, and Power Point Presentations. Moreover, the training methodology will be based on the following techniques:
