Trainer Profile
Basharat A Malik is
an Economics graduate with Masters in
Administrative Sciences (studies in
business & public administration). He
has also studied general & strategic
management at London Business School and
Ashridge management college UK.
Mr. Malik has overall
28 years of corporate experience in
different areas including, human
resource / general management,
industrial operations, procurement &
logistics at senior level with British
and German pharmaceutical companies
namely Boots / Knoll pharmaceuticals and
Hilton Pharma. He has also worked for
three years as Head of Human Resource
under an Asian Development Bank (ADB)
project for re-structuring of a public
sector Bank (ZTBL) with 5600 employees &
343 branches aimed at complete shift
from personnel function to contemporary
performance driven & competency based HR
systems & policies.
He has also been
actively involved in managerial Skills
training and HR consultancy jobs
including HR diagnostic studies,
formulation of modern HR policies,
performance management and other
organizational development initiatives
with public sector and multinational
organizations.
Mr. Malik has also
been a director on the Boards of Boots /
Knoll pharmaceuticals (currently Abbot
Labs) and Kissan Support Services LTD (KSSL)
a subsidiary of ZTBL, a public Sector
Bank
An alumni of London
Business School UK, Mr. Malik is also a
member of Management Association of
Pakistan, Institute of International
Affairs and a visiting faculty to NUST
Business School.
