Trainer's Profile:
Basharat Malik is an Economics
graduate with Masters in Administrative Sciences (studies in
Business & Public administration). He has also studied general &
strategic management at London Business School and Ashridge
management college UK.
Mr. Malik has over 30 years of
corporate experience in different functional areas including, human
resource, general management and industrial operations at senior
positions including board level assignments of 8 years with British
& German multinational companies and subsidiary of a public sector
Bank. His overall experience includes 21 years as Head of Human
Resource and an Asian Development Bank (ADB) financed HR assignment
spread over three years which he led to re-structure a large public
sector Bank for complete shift from personnel function to
contemporary performance driven & competency based HR systems &
policies.
Currently associated with a HR &
financial management consultancy firm and also undertaking free
lance HR consultancy & corporate training, Mr. Malik has led major
assignments relating to HR diagnostic studies, modern HR policies&
systems, various organizational development (OD) initiatives with
public sector & multinational organizations and has been actively
involved with corporate training & Organizational development for
over 10 years.
An Alumni of London Business School
UK, member of Management Association of Pakistan and Institute of
International Affairs, Mr.Malik has also been a visiting faculty
with NUST Business School, Air University Islamabad and a resource
person with Skills Development Council (SDC), Institute of Bankers
Pakistan (IBP) and First Women Bank Ltd (FWBL).
